NYC

My boyfriend and I recently went to NYC. Now this was my first time in the Big Apple, and with expectations high, I was afraid it may not live up to the reputation. Ohhh it did. Here's a few snaps from the trip, including Chelsea Market in the meatpacking district... Flea market to end all flea markets! 

Vintage shopping was RI-DONK-U-LOUS.

We worked on numerous shoots together over the years and now Chantelle Bowker is the in-house photographer at The Pretty Junk, and I bloomin’ love her. Not only is she a super cool girl with her main loves in life being snowboarding, music with MAJOR guitar riffs and ultra hot skater boys, her eye for fashion photography is second to none.
Based in Manchester, UK, she’s movin’ on up the industry ladder with her MAD editing skills, so watch out world… Chantelle Bowker has officially landed.

Model Credentials: Hazel Whittle

After being involved in the make-up industry for nearly 10 years, I met a ton of awesome (and not so awesome) people on the way.
Hazel was always my favourite model to see on a shoot when working in make-up. She saved the day on many occasions, as well as her face helping me get to the ELLE UK offices for the Make-up Artist of the Year contest. Not only was she CRAY-ZAY professional, she's also hilarious to be around, reliable and the most authentic rock n' roller I've ever met. There was no question that I wanted her as the face of The Pretty Junk once the idea of opening the boutique had come to life. She knows fashion and how to wear it.
Tyra Banks couldn't deal with how fierce she is.

WHOA. Adele.

6 Grammys and performing live at The Brits this evening, 23 year old Adele has had a pretty nice ride of it recently. This being said, it could've been slightly tainted by the "fat" remarks by the amazing, yet
mal-nutritioned Karl Lagerfield. Looking at the images from Vogue magazine, we think not. You couldn't be more beautiful Adele. Perfect.
